Kokkino Chorio - Koutalas Beach (Elephants Cave) Follow the signs for "Koutalas.

A small beach, hidden between two rocks. Here you can swim in the sea, be sure to bring snorkeling gear. This is also the place where initiation diving is done.

Tip: Park your car at the top. Do not enter the water when the sea is rough.

± 15 minutes on foot from Villa PI (π) - Depart from the main street and turn left and keep going.

Almyrida - A cozy beach - Ideal for small children (slowly deeper)

Kalyves - you have several beaches.

1. When you drive into the village you come right up to a large parking lot at the beach.

2. Continue towards Chania along the coastal road, turn right opposite the Synka supermarket. Extensive beach with a little bridge where you can jump off into the riverbed. Children love it. At 'Almy' you can use sun loungers for free provided you take a drink.

At the roundabout where you turn off for the airport drive straight ahead. Many Greeks and Americans stay here. On Sundays very busy, locals go with the family to the beach and eat.

Chania - End of Selinou Street

1. Outside the town in the district of Nea Chora (heading west), at the very end at the Restaurant Tsalikis a beach with a beautiful sunset.

2. On foot to the right (towards Chania city) or left you have other beaches where it is nice to stay.
